(AU) SMSF Accountant – Work From Home

WFH | Full time | Day 1 HMO & Leave Credits

Job Description

Central Luzon (Remote) ₱65,000 – ₱85,000 per month

Start a new position with a longstanding Australian Accounting firm seeking a specialist SMSF Accountant. This role provides valuable processing of Australian Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF) transactions, financials and tax returns. Prior experience with SMSF Accunting is essential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of SMSF yearly transactions and coprorate actions

  • Preparation of SMSF financial reports and tax returns

  • Competent in processing SMSF work in relation to Property, Shares, Unit Investments

  • Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) 

  • Preparation workpapers and relevant GST & Capital Gain Tax calculations

  • Preparation of supporting workpaper file to the financial statements and tax return to provide to auditor.

  • Ad-hoc accounting tasks associated with allocated SMSFs including processing pension commencements and processing complex investment purchase or disposal transactions

Requirements

 

  • Australian SMSF Accounting Experience is essential
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skill
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective task and time management skills
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Experience using CLASS accounting software is essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • A positive attitude and the desire to contribute to a high performing team
